Rogue River Day Trips - Itinerary Overview
We’ll meet at 10:00 in the morning at the Hog Creek boat ramp between Merlin and Galice, and prepare you for a fantastic day on the river. After the guides provide a safety briefing we’ll push off downriver through some spectacular scenery. ROW will provide the gear you need and the guides will bring their knowledge and experience. Our guides are always focused on safety, but put a special emphasis on a fun time splashing through the rapids, swimming in the calm spots and sharing the area’s natural and historic treasures.
For lunch, we’ll stop on the river’s edge and set up a delicious lunch with all the fixings. After lunch we’ll continue downriver, splashing our way to the take-out just below Argo rapid. The twelve and a half mile trip has a great mix of friendly whitewater, swimming and floating in the calm stretches. Highlights of the day will include Hellgate Canyon and rapids, lots of splashy riffles and class III Argo rapid right at the end. We’ll end the day between 2:00 and 2:30 by transporting you back to your car where we met at the Hog Creek boat ramp.
