Black Bar Lodge

Nestled in the heart of the Rogue River Canyon, Black Bar Lodge has been accommodating river adventurers since 1934. It takes its name from William Black, a gold miner from the area. Black Bar Lodge features 16 rustic log cabin rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and hot water showers. The grassy lawn in front of the lodge is a great place to relax with drinks and appetizers or throw a frisbee around before the family style dinner. The comfortable beds at Black Bar Lodge will ensure a good night’s sleep. In the morning a hearty breakfast will get you ready for another day of having fun on the river.

Accommodations

The cabins at Black Bar Lodge feature either One Double bed and One Twin bed or in some cases Two Twin beds. There is also one room that offers 3 beds which we normally use for families. Use of hair dryers or curling irons is not allowed, and shower amenities (like soap, shampoo, etc.) are not provided. The power is operated by a generator which is turned off at 10 pm every night. It is turned back on by 6 am.
