Half Moon Bar Lodge
Featuring 14 rooms, suites, and cabins, Half Moon Bar Lodge enjoys a magnificent riverside setting surrounded by thousands of acres of remote wilderness. All of its rooms are luxuriously appointed with comfortable beds and warm showers. When we arrive we are greeted with mid-afternoon snacks and the dining room also includes a full cash/credit bar with artistically created artisan drinks. After an afternoon of relaxing or playing games on the spacious lawns we eat a gourmet dinner compete with a stroll down the old airstrip before dessert. After dinner the spectacular night sky gives us a great show. In morning coffee service at your door and a scrumptious breakfast in the dining room precedes a relaxing final day on the river.

Hidden in the forest, this private cabin features a queen bed, plus a single bed and an ensuite bathroom. The lounge area has a modern sofa and handcrafted furnishings, plus a wood-fired stove. Outside is a cowboy-soaking tub that’s ideal for stargazing.

Inspiration Cabin
Nestled beneath the fir trees, this modern cabin is equipped with a pillow-top queen bed and a single bed, plus a large ensuite bathroom. There’s a separate lounge area with handcrafted furniture and original artwork, as well as a cowboy-soaking tub under the stars.

Tyee Orchard House Suite
Offering views of the orchard, this beautiful suite features a pillow-top queen bed, a single bed and an ensuite bathroom. In one corner is a comfortable leather recliner where you can relax with a good book.

Reviews
So great! Is there anything we didn't like? No. Our family of 4 stayed there during a Rogue River Rafting trip. We food was great. The hosts were great. The Farm to Table dinner was fantastic and very well presented. The rooms were comfortable. Roma (the dog) was very sweet and was an excellent addition to the team. It was really hot when we were there and the misters were a good addition.
I had the good fortune of staying at Half Moon Bar Lodge for 2 nights. The place is pure magic. Steps lead up from a boat ramp on the river. When we got to the top and saw the lodge and the beautiful meadow I immediately fell in love with the place. The folks who work there are wonderful. Our cabin was perfect. The food prepared by Chef Roy was off the charts farm to table cuisine. Ross, the owner, is a great story teller and just a great guy. He clearly cares for the land and had created a space that is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. Roma, his sweet dog, checked in with us throughout our stay. We explored, rested, ate like royalty and left wishing we didn’t have to go. I can’t wait to return.
Half Moon Bar Lodge is a special place. One of my friends calls it "heaven". He just might be right. The food is exquisite, the lodging amazing, the grounds and history compelling - and oh yeah - just in case you need it, their WiFi is probably faster than yours (thanks to starlink)! Mike and team have really built something special here. If you ever get the chance, you MUST go, or regret having missed the opportunity.
Loved watching the stars and wildlife, eating lavish meals, and enjoying the beautiful remoteness of the place. The staff are all fantastic story tellers and hosts, and go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable during their stay. Can't say enough good things about this experience.
