Originally from Great Falls, Montana, McKenzie grew up spending long summer nights outside riding bikes, playing games with the neighborhood kids, and making the most of outdoor spaces. That love for being outdoors has shaped her ever since.
She holds a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Montana and has experience leading interpretive trips in Washington with REI. Whether she’s sharing stories, spotting mushrooms, or helping guests connect with the landscape, she always brings a fun energy into guiding.
McKenzie is always chasing her next adventure. She recently completed a 7-day bikepacking trip through Costa Rica and is on a mission to see the world by bike! In the winter, you’ll find her skiing or training in aerial arts, and year-round she’s on the hunt for hidden hot springs.
