Originally from Twenty Nine Palms in California, Kimberly first got involved in boating in 2017 when some Idaho friends introduced her to Montana’s Yaak River. She’s since guided throughout Idaho and Montana and loves the varied scenery, crisp rivers, and stunning views! But her background lies in music (she plays saxophone and holds of Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Idaho) and in ski racing. When not on the river, you’ll either find her on the ski slopes or rock climbing. The most amazing outdoor experiences of her life? A brutal 14-mile hike along the Oregon Eagle Creek Trail and the spectacular views from the top of Bachelor Mountain.
