What’s the difference between the Snake River and Salmon River rafting trips?

The Snake River in Hells Canyon is a big-volume,  high-adventure river with steep canyon walls and large rapids. The Salmon River Canyons offer a slightly more relaxed experience. The rapids here still offer you a thrill, but inbetween the rapids there's plenty of calm water that offers you a chance to swim, try inflatable kayaking, and relax.

What is a raft-supported hiking trip?

Raft-supported hiking means you explore scenic trails on foot while a raft carries your gear down the river. You enjoy the freedom of hiking without the burden of a heavy backpack and instead get to carry a daypack that can be restocked each night at camp.
