Matt Werner Whitewater Rafting Guide

Matt is one of those guides who can not only guide you down the river safely, he can out ski you on the slope, teach you high school algebra, and design software for a space program. Matt resides in Coeur d'Alene and teaches math and science at an alternative high school, and is an alpine race coach. Before teaching Matt was a software engineer for an Aerospace supplier and in 1993 Matt competed at the US Alpine nationals as an NCAA ski racer. Matt balances all of that and still finds time to kayak in his spare time. If you get on a trip with him ask him to juggle!
