Koni Konigsberg Director of Operations

Born 1974 in California. Guide since 1994: CO, WY, ID, New Zealand. With ROW since 1999.

Koni loves to juggle - not just with his balls and sticks and such, but with life and countries. An avid traveler who has covered most of Southeast Asia, Koni says it all started when he made a model of the Taj Mahal out of sugar cubes and began dreaming of distant lands. His travels brought him to Idaho in 1999 where he fell in love with the rivers and started guiding with ROW. He made the move permanent in 2004 and is now ROW's Director of Operations. In the winter he hits the ski slopes as much as he can and then, in the warmth of spring, follows the snow's melt to the rivers.
