5th generation Idaho native Jessica Helsley began guiding for ROW Adventures in 2006. Born in 1985 in Twin Falls, Idaho Jess spent all of her youth working and playing amid Idaho's pristine rivers. She loves to share her knowledge of the Gem State with everyone she encounters, and does so frequently as an NAI Certified Interpretive Guide. From identifying native flora and fauna, to talking about the Native American history of her home state she has an entertaining story for everyone! Her passion for our great rivers and the mighty fish that live within them has led her to pursue a Professional Science Masters degree in Ecohydrology at the University of Idaho. Funded by the National Science Foundation her emphasis will be on the Snake River Salmon populations. In her spare time Jess can be found casting a fly for the elusive Steelhead, or chasing after the Chukar Partridge with her two boys and the trusty family dog in tow.
