After six river trips, your outfit is the best. Cannot say enough about what a great time I had and how everyone worked so hard to make sure I did.

Details

Running through the deepest river gorge in North America, the Snake River offers some of the most stunning scenery in the American West. ROW's Snake River fishing trips float through Hells Canyon and typically run 3-6 days. ROW's expert fishing guides will help you hone in on plenty of rainbow trout, steelhead, small mouth bass and sturgeon.

Rainbow trout in the Snake are large fish that feed heavily on both the surface and sub-surface and they often grow up to 22”.  Small mouth bass in the Snake are aggressive feeders and love the sight of a bright streamer or active plastic jig getting run in front of them.  Sturgeon, the grand daddy of all American fish, often grow to lengths of 8’ or more in this famous river.  The chance of hooking up with one of these bottom dwelling monsters brings fishermen from around the country to Hell’s Canyon.  Later in the year, typically October through March, the Steelhead run heavily through the waters of the Snake.  Fly-fishing and pulling plugs are both popular techniques for attracting these beautiful and highly sought after fish.

This trip is offered as a multi-day wilderness camping trip. After a full day of fishing the Snake River, we'll stop each night at a comfortable campsite in time for dinner. ROW's fishing guides will cook meals and set up camp. From camp you can keep fishing, take a hike or just relax and replay the fishing memories from the day. Fishing trips on the Snake River are typically 3-6 days and begin in Cambridge, Idaho. The memories made while fly fishing this amazing stretch of river will last a life time.

Be sure to ask about our fly fishing package options for Idaho, Montana and Oregon.
