ROW designed its luxury wilderness Idaho lodge and log cabin rentals to be the ultimate outdoor adventure resort. With eight handcrafted log cabins, each with its own hot tub and expansive front deck, you can enjoy a river view in total privacy and comfort.

For the fly-fishing enthusiast our River Dance Lodge offers some of the finest and most unique opportunities to fish some of the Pacific Northwest’s finest and most revered trout and steelhead waters. Within 100 yards from the comfort of your immaculate wilderness cabin lies the crystal clear Middle Fork of the Clearwater River. Known for it’s outsized Steelhead and aggressive rainbow trout, the Clearwater is a popular destination for people who love to catch fish. The Steelhead season generally runs from October through March. Rainbow trout feed aggressively during the spring and early summer months and then again during late summer and early fall.

The Selway River is one of the most sought after scenic river trips in the country. Due to it’s geographic location and limited access, the Selway provides an angler with a feeling of privacy and a chance to throw flies at native fish that receive relatively little pressure. A solid Skwala hatch in May starts off a terrific 4 or 5 month fishing season. Terrestrials, mayflies, stone flies, and stimulators mark the natural progression of hatches through the spring and early summer season. Starting in late August the caddis come on heavy and the peak fishing season ends with a breathtaking October caddis hatch that brings die hard fly fishermen from around the country to the crystal clear waters of the Selway.

Choose from one or two days of guided fishing.

River Dance Lodge accomodations include small and large cabins. Four cabins are two-bedroom lofts that accommodate four to six people. Each two-bedrooom cabin has one queen bedroom with an additional futon in the living area on the main floor. Upstairs, you’ll find a loft bedroom with two single beds that can be moved together to form a king-size bed. There is a full bath on the main floor. The Lodge also includes two duplex cabins for rent, each with its own 3-bedroom unit. Each 3-bedroom cabin has two queen bedrooms downstairs that share a full bath. There is also a futon in the main floor living area that will sleep one or two people. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with a queen bed and a trundle bed that sleeps two singles as well as a separate bathroom with shower. Because each duplex unit will sleep from 6 to 10 people, these are perfect for families and larger groups. Renting the entire building (both units) is ideal for a group of 12 to 16 or as many as 20 (although for maximum comfort we recommend no more than 8 in each unit).

Each of our log cabins at River Dance Lodge is decorated with a unique personality in mind with creative and tasteful furnishings and local artwork. Our cabins have a comfortable living room with dining table and chairs, gas fireplace, comfortable sitting area and a small kitchen. Plenty of comfort inside and tons of adventure outside.
