Details

The St. Joe River and the Coeur d'Alene are two of North Idaho's finest rivers for fishing. The 'Joe' is one of the West's premiere Blue-Ribbon cutthroat fisheries and the Coeur d'Alene has a thriving population of cutthroat and rainbow trout. This excursion will provide you with an opportunity to explore both of these rivers. Your guide will pick you up in North Idaho's resort town, Coeur d'Alene, on the morning of your trip and you will drive about two hours to the 'shadowy' Joe. After a long and rewarding day of fishing, your guide will take you to luxury accommodations nearby. Relax your tired muscles in a comfortable room with many amenities as you prepare for your next day on the water. Wake up early the next day for a short drive to the Coeur d'Alene River. During the month of June you'll be float fishing on the Coeur d'Alene. Other months will give you a more intimate feel for the river as you walk and wade with your guide. Gourmet lunches will be prepared for you each day, optimizing your time on the water.

The Idaho Weekend Fly Away Package is a great way to explore Northern Idaho. Your expert guide will take you to the best fishing spots and can cater instruction to a novice or an expert. We guarantee that you'll learn something new to help you become a better fisherman after one of our trips, and offer a full refund if we don't meet your expectations.

This trip includes two days on the water with your professional fly fishing guide(s), all necessary equipment, flies, daily gourmet riverside lunches, transportation and one nights of luxury accommodations. You'll need to purchase an Idaho fishing license as well as dinner in the evening.
