In order for ROW trips to run as smooth as they do we rely on a strong support staff. The ROW employees behind the scenes are the backbone of our operation. ROW trips require behind the scenes work from CDL drivers who are responsible for getting out trips to and from the river and shoppers who buy the food for our trips.

ROW Inc. is committed to a safe environment for its Adventure Staff and Guests. We have a zero tolerance policy for drugs on our property or impairment at work. If you can't do without drugs or heavy consumption of alcohol, don't apply. Random drug testing is required for all ROW employees. Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing is required for CDL drivers. Post-accident drug/alcohol testing is required of all employees filing a workman’s compensation claim. Any employee allowing drugs or alcohol to effect their work may be terminated.
Tobacco-Free Policy
ROW Inc. is a tobacco-free company. Smoking and chewing tobacco is not permitted on ROW property or in any ROW vehicle. Guides are not permitted to smoke or chew tobacco on any ROW trip. This includes all overnight trips. Any employee found in violation of this policy will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
Personal Appearance
A professional and well-groomed appearance is an essential ingredient in ROW’s success. Facial piercing such as nose rings, eye rings, and chin studs are not acceptable. We rely on your good judgment and commitment to ROW Inc. to accept this basic condition of employment.

The Following Support Positions are available
Van/Bus Drivers
ROW employs Bus drivers at our Syringa Idaho, Clarkston Washington, SuperiorMontana, and Great FallsMontana locations. These drivers are required to have a CDL (Commercial Driver License), NO airbrake restriction and a Passenger endorsement.
Our vehicles range in size from 15 passenger vans and smaller, to 60 passenger buses with trailers. Duties include carefully driving our guests and guides to and from river launch points and take-outs, daily general inspection and general care and cleaning of our vehicles. Work is seasonal, and varies among different rivers. Additional non-driving duties may include helping guides and passengers load and unload, cleaning and putting away equipment, guarding passenger belongings and company equipment, attending staff meetings, and other duties. Must provide a DOT driving record
DOT regulations require a physical exam, pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing of all qualified applicants.
Outgoing personality, friendly and enjoy talking with all types of guests.
We have one position available at our main warehouse in Clarkston, Washington. Duties include food and supply purchasing and storage, menu planning, budgeting, packing of meals for multi-day trips and managing our small retail supplies. As well miscellaneous duties to support the operation. Familiarity with rafting trip logistics and packing techniques is a plus, but not required. You should be able to work early/late hours. Be friendly and able to work with other team members under pressure and routine situations.
Middle Fork Outpost Wizard
This is an off-river position that keeps this operation running smoothly. Based in the charming town of Salmon, Idaho there are a variety of responsibilities. Trips are six days long and run on an eight-day rotation. You shop and pack food for each trip, drive the shuttles (crew cab and trailer), arrange logistics and stay in touch with the office. Position begins early June and ends late August/early September.
We have another shopper position at our Missouri River outpost in Great Falls, Montana, best suited for someone local as it involves only 10-14 hours a week.
Depending on the position, various starting and ending dates may be accommodated.
Pets are not allowed.
Most positions are physically demanding and require lifting, bending, standing and kneeling.
We usually try to wrap up our hiring by early March, but feel free to check with us if you discover ROW after that date. Also, please use the Letters of Recommendation forms and have these returned by this deadline.
Once your application has been received, you will be notified if you have been selected for a telephone interview. Generally interviews are conducted from January through March.
