Born 1974 in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Guide since 1998 : WV, ID, MT, MA, ME, Peru. Joined ROW in 2003.
John likes "Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain." If you ever wondered if there really was a thing as a right handed or left handed paddle John would be the one to convince you one way or the other. John keeps guests and guides laughing at ROW with his great sense of humor. John has a Masters in Outdoor Recreation Management from Springfield College. In the winter John can be found in Steamboat Springs leading snowmobiling trips or enjoying the endless powder. During the summer John is an experienced kayaker and a Class V guide who can also drive a school bus full of rafters. If you really want to impress John see if you can stump him on a movie quote. He knows them all! |
