Welcome to the ROW community help page. If you are new to the ROW community, we hope you will find this a useful tool to keep in touch will friends from previous trips and to stay on top of upcoming trips that ROW has to offer.

If you are having trouble finding your way around the community, here are some helpful tips:

• Navigation
  • User navigation is located in the red bar at the top of content pages, just under the main site navigation. You will only see this navigation when logged in. The user navigation will direct you to your own profile page, your blog dashboard, your mailbox, a site registered user list, and the logout page.
  • Once inside your profile, your navigation to edit your profile and set your preferences will be across the top of your profile page. You can manage your image gallery, forum preferences, etc. here.
• Friend Connections
  • You can build friend connections as you learn more about the ROW community. Friends from previous trips you've been on, friends with similar interests, and so on. To send a friend request: 1) Login to the ROW Community 2) Click "List Users" from your community navigation in the top red bar 3) Locate your friend and click their profile 4) Click "Request Connection" from the "Connections" tab above their profile information. That's it! Your friend must confirm the connection before a connection is established.
  • You will be notified when you have a friend request when you log into your profile page. You can manage your connections through your profile navigation. Edit, delete, or rearrange your connections under the "connections" tab. The "manage actions" tab in the connections area is for accepting pending connections.
• Mailbox
  • You can send and receive email and private messages while logged into the ROW community. To do so, you can either go into your connections area and click the "send email" or "send private message" icon under your friend's profile image, or you can send email straight from another user's profile page.
  • All of your private message can be viewed from your main mailbox page. See all received messages, sent messages, and manage your messages from this area.
  • When you have received a new message or email, there will be a small blinking mail icon near your profile avatar in the left navigation. Click on the icon or go into your mailbox area to view your new messages.
